SINKHOLE CLAIMS

What we DO

Sinkholes are a very common natural and sometimes manmade occurrence here in Palm Beach County. If you are the unlucky home or business owner that happens to live above a sinkhole, you need to make sure that it is fixed correctly the first time. Your first step needs to be to call a Licensed Public Adjuster that handles sinkhole claims, like us. If you try to handle the claim alone, you will be dealing directly with your insurance companies adjuster who is trained to pay the lowest possible amount to the policy holder.

When you use us to handle your sinkhole damage claim we work for you, not the insurance company. We only have one goal in mind, and that is to find every single piece of damage to your home or business. Our team of experts includes engineers, attorneys, insurance claim specialists, appraisers and inspectors. When we come out we check everything, are adjusters will find damage that you never knew existed and if you had the insurance adjuster out, they probably missed thousands of dollars in missed damage.

If your claim has already been filed, but you don't feel like you where treated fairly or you think items where missed, we can step in on your behalf and submit a new claim with the new found damage or missed items. If your claim has already been paid, and you recently found new damage, Florida law allows us to file a new supplemental claim to recover any missed damages or damages that hadn't occurred yet due to the sinkhole formation. We can also help you if your sinkhole claim was denied, in many cases the denial is incorrect or the denials was due to a technicality. Remember, if we can't collect for you, we don't charge you anything, we only charge a small percentage when we collect from your insurance company.

Recent Sinkhole Claim Success Story in West Palm Beach

Our Public Adjusters were recently hired by a family in Palm Beach County to handle a complete sinkhole claim from start to finish. They decided to use a Public Adjuster because their attorney said it would be very risky to trust the insurance company due to the sever damage caused by the ground collapse. Our adjuster arrived to their home the same day they called, so they could avoid the insurance company adjuster and the damage found was devastating. About 30 feet of earth had collapsed surrounding their pool and back den and kitchen. The inside of the home was intact, but the walls in the den had large cracks and the flooring had sunk into the corners. The pool was damaged badly and would need to be replaced due to over 7 feet of cracking and the filtration system was located above the sinkhole. We ordered surveys, inspections and had structural engineers out to analyze the home and come up with plans to fix the damage to the foundation and to fill the sinkhole properly. Our team was able to get the home owners a new pool, the entire sinkhole was repaired and filled, the den was rebuilt, and the kitchen and den floor was replaced. The landscaping was also replaced alone with a damaged section of irrigation piping.

Sinkhole claims are not easy to do alone, especially when the insurance company adjuster is trying to save the insurance company as much money as possible. It is always recommended that you use a Licensed Public Adjuster or an Attorney when filing a major insurance claim.
